THE UNPREDICTABILITY OF LIFE
"YOUR LIFE IS UNPREDICTABLE. BELIEVE IT AND LIVE IT"
UNPREDICTABILITY OF LIFE
Life is a blessing from Allah. He designed us into a
perfect being with all pleasing characteristics and an extraordinary abilities
that other creatures don’t possessed. He programmed us perfectly and provided
whatever we needed in this world. He gave us guidance to learn the rules and
regulations that He made for us to manage and handle our lives. We have
entrusted with reasoning and other capabilities such as sensations, knowledge etc.
to ponder, contemplate, and realize the very essence of life and its
philosophy. But this reasoning is limited that although we knew some part of
our life still the big portion of the truth of life is left unknown to us. Only
the Creator, the Al-Knowing knows the real us, the real future of our life and
the bound of our deeds.
Life is unpredictable
in a reason that we don’t see the future of us; we don’t see the humps of life
that await us on our ways because we are merely disconnected to the Creator. We
are distracted most of the time in different circumstances; we became engaged
in the worldly affairs where we see the life as full of happiness without
hardships and sacrifices. We take the meaning of life lightly and this could be
a reason why we don’t feel to prepare anything for the Accounting Day because
for us, life is to enjoy; doing everything that could make us satisfied. We
don’t see that the life as only one to be wasted for gain less and we disregard
that the life in this world will end up on our death.
Death is one of the
surprises of life. It is a mysterious event of life that no one could predict except
Allah. He always reminded us in His Glorious Book about this event but because
we had so much unfinished business in this world, we postponed all the thoughts
and diseases about death and because of that; we don’t prepared for what is in
tomorrow. Allah says in the Holy Qur’an: “And never say of anything, “Indeed, I
will do that tomorrow.” Except (when doing) “If Allah wills” And remember your
Lord when you forget and say, “Perhaps my Lord will guide me to what is nearer
than this to right conduct” [18:23-24] We don’t have assurance on when the
death come to us. And this verse is a reminder that life is in the will of Allah.
Therefore, because the
life is only one and we always had limited time to use for other activities
then let us do whatever is necessary. Do not waste the life and the chances
given to us but instead use is to enrich your knowledge, good deeds and be
prepared whenever the death comes. As Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him and
his progeny taught us to live everyday as if it were our last day. Life is
unpredictable so make the best of you to do the right with the right intentions.
Life is full of surprises either good or bad but everything is depending on us
on how we approach the obstacles and challenges of life. Make the life
productive and meaningful so that when the death comes, it will be the sweetest
death that you will never afraid of.
Mashallah
